CyanGems began in 2016 on a workbench in Novi Sad, with one goldsmith, a loupe and a stubborn conviction that fine jewellery had become needlessly opaque. Buying a gemstone meant trusting a certificate you could not read, at a price nobody would explain. So we started cutting out the middle: sourcing rough directly, cutting and setting in house, and printing the actual carat, colour and clarity on every listing.
Nine years on there are fourteen of us. We still cut our own stones, we still publish our margins, and every piece that leaves the workshop is checked by the person who made it.
Three things, and we will not trade them away.
Traceable materials. Our gold is 100% recycled, refined in an LBMA certified facility. Our coloured stones come from mines we have visited, and we will tell you which one on request. No exceptions for diamonds, and nothing from a conflict source.
Honest pricing. The price you see is the price of the metal, the stone and the hours of the person who made it, plus a margin we are happy to state out loud. We do not run fake countdown sales.
Jewellery that gets repaired, not replaced. We resize, restring, replate and re set for as long as you own the piece. Most repairs are free, the rest are at cost.
